Hello — I’m Josh, founder of JW Invertebrates. Based in Liskeard, Cornwall, UK, I’ve been passionately caring for and breeding invertebrates and exotic creatures for over 20 years. At JW Invertebrates, my mission is to provide high-quality, captive-bred isopods and invertebrates to hobbyists, terrarium keepers, and bioactive enthusiasts across the UK.
🌱 What I Do
- I specialise in breeding isopods (also known as woodlice, pillbugs, or roly‑polys), including popular genera such as Armadillidium, Cubaris, Porcellio, and more.
- I also keep and breed a variety of other invertebrates (cockroaches, millipedes, slugs, etc.), aiming to offer interesting and well‑cared‑for species for the exotic pet and bioactive community.
- All stock sold is captive-bred by me, never wild‑collected — ensuring healthy, domesticated animals and helping protect wild populations.
